We witnessed firsthand how disadvantaged youth face more barriers than most, and none of it is their fault. Over a 12-month period, we met with long-term NEETs and disadvantaged individuals facing deep-rooted challenges, gathering data, listening to lived experience, and mapping what was missing. We witnessed firsthand how disadvantaged youth face more barriers than most, and none of it is their fault. Over a 12-month period, we met with long-term NEETs and disadvantaged individuals facing deep-rooted challenges, gathering data, listening to lived experience, and mapping what was missing. Sportainment was born, and now we empower young people with the mentorship, tools, and opportunities they deserve.

Our approach is simple: it’s empathy-led, non-judgmental, and never one-size-fits-all. Student Wellbeing is embedded across all our programmes.. We work face-to-face, one-to-one, and always create a safe space. We partner primarily with schools and colleges, asking to support those most at risk of NEET, including students facing exclusion
Our approach is simple: it’s empathy-led, non-judgmental, and never one-size-fits-all. Student Wellbeing is embedded across all our programmes.. We work face-to-face, one-to-one, and always create a safe space. We partner primarily with schools and colleges, asking to support those most at risk of NEET, including students facing exclusion, reoffending, or care experienced. From there, we extend support to those on FSM, SEN plans, and students staff are most concerned about.
This approach reflects deep confidence in our model and confirmed success. To date we have had 100% referral and engagement to date.

We support individuals, 10 - 25, facing systemic barriers, including those from low socio-economic backgrounds, young people with disabilities, care-experienced youth, caregivers, and those at risk of exclusion, reoffending, or becoming NEET. We also work with students on FSM & SEN plans.
As an inclusive charity, we welcome individuals who are not from disadvantaged backgrounds but still seek mentorship, guidance, or enrichment. However, we do not provide financial assistance to these individuals, as our funding is prioritised for those most in need.

Wellbeing, mental health, and DEI are central to every interaction we have with students, teaching staff, and non-teaching teams alike. Without a strong foundation in these areas, any intervention risks falling short.
We believe that healthier individuals, empowered with knowledge of their DEI rights, are more confident, motivated, and equipped to fight for their place at the table. This isn’t just about support; it’s about transformation. When young people feel safe, seen, and respected, everything else becomes more possible.
